About Arthur Okonkwo

Arthur is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals, specialising in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery. Internationally trained at Moorfields and in Melbourne, he is an Honorary Senior Lecturer, published researcher and regional referral specialist.

He also holds a Master of Research in Transplantation with Distinction, has secured over £300,000 in international grants and awards, and has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications.
